So I paid for the premium and it seems to be ok. But the app crashes when you click on certain phrases. I’ve only been using it for a day and there are two phrases that cause the app to completely crash and close. I’d like to see that fixed considering I spent money on this app. My Pastor is a native speaker and I’d like to learn the language
Seems like the developer only responds to “positive” reviews and doesn’t respond or fix the problems on this app. This is why I’ll be deleting it and hope something better comes along.
Getting in touch w/ my roots is made all the more easier w/ this wonderful app. There are words I always had trouble pronouncing and this helps fix that issue. Like I would tell anyone else. If you want to respect the culture don’t tattoo your skin! Learn the language. Show respect that way.
At first I thought the Audio did not work, but after receiving feedback the audio worked. My phone was on silent. I look forward to learning the language. Thank you for your help!
Pronunciation of words were working before I purchased subscription. Now it’s not working at all
I was really considering purchasing the bells and whistles that comes with this app because I really would like to better my Samoan but after reading all the negative reviews with no response; I think I’ll pass. I’m really surprised Apple is allowing this to happen let alone go on. Shame on these developers for not fixing the issues with the app. Wanting to learn is an awesome thing. If it’s about the money which I’m sure it is. Think of all the loss because of the negative reviews and with no response at that. Well there’s my two sense. Too bad I thought I found something good. Who knows I may still try it because I’m very eager to learn.
The reason I got this and paid for the premium was so that I could hear the words/phrases. The speaking portion doesn’t even work so I can’t hear how to pronounce anything. I want a refund honestly!
I see these guys still haven’t responded to anyone that left a comment. How do we report these crooks? As a samoan, I was gonna let It go, but I dropped too much money on the previous app. This company shouldn’t be allowed to sell anything but their muli on the corner! Rip offs!
I’m just writing because I see that there is someone who needed help trying to reach out to someone for help concerning purchases he or she made and went missing. I’m going to assume that no one cares because it’s only one review and no one has time to respond to that person. Anyhoots, from the looks of it, it’s been well over a year. Anyways thanks to that person I’m not going to waste my time purchasing anything because no one will respond if any of my purchases goes missing... Peace and blessings
Yikes! I was set to pay for this annual subscription because I want to learn the Samoan language...but after reading these reviews, I’m not impressed with the developers SILENCE. Not responding to the valid concerns of their paying customers is as irresponsible as you can get. Not to mention erasing the previous version, this “green” app that I’m reading about, after many people have paid them for it. That’s criminal. Too bad really, from what I’ve read it seems like it was a very useful and helpful app. But that doesn’t mean much if the developer feels ok just taking the green app away from their customers right along with their money. They’ve created irreparable damage to their company name by showing their lack of integrity. If in the future I read reviews from these unhappy customers saying that they were contacted, given an apology and had their money returned in full then I’d be impressed and would probably buy the new “purple” app. We’ll see if that happens.
