Sankaku Anime & AI Girlfriend

Sankaku has implemented the AVIF format but failed miserably, nuking their entire database. It’s been a month as the time of this review and they’re still “working on it”. I’m convinced it’s too much effort to save Sankaku, so it’s abandoned. We had a good run! RIP

I have used Sankaku pretty much since it was brought into existence. I was shocked when I saw apple had an app for it and I instantly downloaded it. As a raging otaku/weaboo, I’ve always appreciated Sankaku. I have nothing negative to say about Sankaku nor its app. 10/10 and ideal for any otaku haha and I change my background daily. I am considering uploading my character designs and whatever gets the best feedback is what I’ll use in an animation. Because my dream is to be an astrophysicist and to create a big anime series. I mean I’ve added to it for 13 years now 🤔 but I think I’ll stick with Wordpress. Not sure

basic user literally can’t use this site normally anymore, except of tons of ads they added limit of tags you can use, do you want to use tags ? Then you pay 25 dollars

You charge ridiculous prices for your terrible premium then the app crashes when you search for things, then the servers don’t work for days, then half of the images don’t load. You need a new management team, the person running the show is an absolute egotistical clown who doesn’t deserve to lead. Clearly all the money you make is going into that freaks pocket instead of into the network infrastructure. You deserve to get shut down by a governmental agency for that one person on your team dragging you all down. Unless you get rid of him and lower prices on premium you’ll end up shutting down. Change pricing, change the store, make it more accessible and make it actually work, and fire the owner who is just embezzling money from the company.

When using the to narrow down my search, it gives me all images related to all the tags, making searching useless

I uploaded a book and now it says my account has reached its upload limit. I have the premium subscription so I thought there wouldn’t be a problem like that.

Every feature you need to pay for is free on the website, and over time they took more and more of those basic features away with every update, also IF you buy the premium subscription and then cancel it you lose it instantly and dont get your money back :)
