The quality of music, specifically instrumental, is good. Enjoyable!

I appreciate the sound quality of tracks and commentaries but sometimes very known bandishes of some raga by famous masters not available which sits some regret.

It is disappointing to see this technical error still not sorted by the classical saregama team….very disappointed

They have the best ever collection of Indian musical treasure. Raga wise search option should also be there under the category of morning afternoon and evening raga for novices like me.

The effort is very innovative and a gift to classical lovers. The curation is good but can be better with more knowledgeable commentators, the current lot is more dramatic than deep. The collection should be much more given Saregama’s almost monopolistic status as a recording house over the decades. The sound quality is excellent, better than competing apps (I’ve done A/B comparisons). But the software has glitches. Songs are wrongly titled at times, sometimes playlists stop midway or go back to previous song on their own. There are times when the app shuts down itself. Far better software programming needed to complement the nice user interface. I wanted to subscribe after my free trial. But the after reading some subscription related horror stories in many reviews here, I feel uncertain.

Am a subscriber for the last 3 years and my day mostly starts with this app “the theme of the day”. But it’s high time for adding new collections from the past and present. I wonder why this is not being done inspite of repeated requests from the connoisseurs!! Please wake and do something to avoid the repetition. Looks like Monday is the rest day for the theme of the Day group. Can u rethink on it ? Theme of the day Carnatic on Sundays are limited to Tamil repository-it’s very often repeated & hence boring. Why not from Telugu, Kannada too ? Also please bring in new presenters on these days. Not sure whether all these comments / suggestions are being read and actions are taken - apparently it’s not getting reflected to be so.

The attempt to provide classical focused app is good. But needs many improvements. The selection is very less. Does not cover any new artists. Audio quality of many recordings is not so good. App startup is slow. Occasional crashes. No shuffle option in the player. No option to close the video player. And subscription cost is higher than itunes, which has a wider selection of songs and better quality of songs. YouTube music has a richer selection of classical music and is more reasonably priced.

This is such a beautiful app but there’s this bug with subscription where I am subscribed and money gets deducted every month but app suddenly stopped recognising my subscription and asks me to subscribe again! Had complained a year ago to their support and had unsubscribed as I couldn’t continue using the app due to this bug. Then subscribed again, it worked for few months and now again app isn’t recognising my subscription. Sadly had to unsubscribe again. Pl do fix this. There are other similar reviews as well. I love this app otherwise

Currently I am struck alone in US due to COVID-19 global lockdown. I was looking for a classical music app to take away my boredom and with soothing music I am not feeling bored
