OTP pathetic
I need to log onto SARS EFiling. The OTP passcode comes hours after the 3 minute expiry on the App and email. Simply useless

•View the status of your return once submitted

•View a summary of your Notice of Assessment (ITA34)
•Request and view your Statement of Account (ITSA)
•Request Notice of Registration

Privacy concerns: No ability to use the app without location and camera permission
Ridiculous that this app requires location and camera permission to even start up. What does a tax filing app need with these permissions? Also, only ask for permission when using a feature that actually needs these permissions.
Frequently needs update. Chats not answered
Every time i log in it’s requires an update Recieved an email about a penalty told to log in and view it on the app, i log in SOA and correspondence have nothing on the penalty. I enquire via chatbot, i get no reply. I try to call no answer. 😫

Can’t log in
Been trying to get the app working for a while now. No help from SARS. I can’t log in even though my inputs are correct. Guess I won’t pay taxes then.
NO LOGIN
It’s 28/10/2024 The app is not letting me login. I initially that the problem was unique to me and maybe just needed an update but it’s not just me and the app has been updating the WHOLE day now. Please resolve this issue asap and prevent it from happening AGAIN because this is not the first time I’m encountering this issue
