Less buggy than kindle. Keep up the good work.

Cuts off in the middle of episodes. Sometimes the language turns to Spanish for no reason. Does it seem to be actually downloaded as it will stop in the middle of an episode and act like it hadn’t been downloaded and you can’t, for example, listen to it while you’re walking or riding in a car. This makes ordering books like dungeon, crawler, Carl, a waste of time

This is usually a pretty good app for listening to some quality audio books. Currently the app is not working for me. It’s completely blank and I don’t see any of my purchases.

The UI is pretty janky, but that’s the only complaint I have. The content is high quality. I had a bit of an issue but I received help very quickly and the problem was easily solved. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because it is a little difficult to navigate around the app.

I love what they’re trying to do at SBT, and I love the narrators and authors. Shoutout to Matt Dinniman and Jeff Hayes for creating such a great experience. However the app itself has a long ways to go. The books will randomly buffer, and the only way to get them to play is exit out of the app then open it back up. The problem is, when you open it back up, it may play your chapter, or it may start playing a chapter 20 ahead of yours. Then you have to play the “which chapter and part was I on” game. It’s incredibly annoying and I’ve almost given up on the app multiple times because of this. If Matt and Jeff didn’t force me to become a book addict, I would have stopped. I hope the SBT people can clean up these bugs before I lose patience and go back to audible.

The app has a glitch where it cant seem to remember where I left off when listening to an audiobook. I’ll listen for a while, close the app, and come back to it later, only to find that when I hit resume, it chooses a random earlier chapter and starts playing from there. It makes finding where I left off at pretty inconvenient. Other than this weird bug, the app is just fine for listening and downloading audiobooks

I made an account for this website last years to simply buy an audiobook for Epithet Erased: Prison of Plastic yet never got around to it. When I decided to listen to it today, I see that the app is blank and I can’t look up anything and find what I purchased. It was fine when it was purchased, yet the app now has this bug and won’t change even if I exit the app or disconnect and reconnect WiFi

First things first, the productions are high quality and are amazing to listen to. Jeff Hayes has built an amazing production experience, but boy is the app glitchy. There seems to be consistent issues with streaming, never any audio quality issues, just locations in episodes. Numerous times have I hit play or next episode and it will jump to a random episode in my library. I have not seen issues with losing subscriptions nor have purchases not appeared. Just the funky issues with remembering where it’s at during a playback.

The audiobook I purchased is gone. There’s nothing on my account and I don’t know how to fix this as I was trying to finish a book when I opened up the app everything was gone. What is the issue?

I love the content that SB puts together, but they really need to do a better job with the app. Many times it will refuse to play the recording, and it’s very frustrating. I hesitated to buy the Dungeon Crawler book because of the many issues I experienced. I ended up buying it, so we will see how it goes.
