Deleted after 1 minute. No obvious way to switch to rear camera which is where the best sensor is on 14 Pro Max. Why would any scan app use front camera where you can’t tell what you’re scanning unless it’s your face?

Description
Scandy Pro for iOS allows users to capture full-color 3D scans. Compatible with iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 12 and 12 Pro, 13 and 13 Pro, 14 and 14 Pro, and the newer iPad Pros (2018 editions or later). Users can save scans and export scans with different file formats (.stl, .ply, .obj, .glb, .usdz), scales (m, cm, mm, in.), and 3D editor orientations (Zbrush, Blender, Unreal, OpenGL, Maya, CRY, 3DS, Cinema4D, AutoCAD). All rendering is done on-device and there is no need to register or store files in the cloud.
Users can save and edit without restriction. Users are provided with one free scan export per week. Unlimited exports are provided with the purchase of a subscription. Users may also purchase single-scan exports.
You no longer need to carry a peripheral scanner with your mobile device.
Users can export and share the files as .ply, .stl, .glb, or .obj formats. User may also upload to Sketchfab directly from the app.
PRICE AND TERMS:
Scandy Pro offers the following auto-renewing subscription options, which unlocks the ability to have unlimited exports of 3D meshes captured by the app:
* 1 month of unlimited saves
* 1 year of unlimited saves
We also offer a lifetime subscription option.
Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account. At the end of the term, unless auto-renewable subscriptions are disabled, your subscription will automatically renew in your iTunes account. You will be charged for the regular price of your subscription within 24 hours prior to the end of the current term. You can turn off automatic renewal in your iTunes account settings at any time, but you must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current term. Refunds will not be provided for the unused portion of any term.

4. Scandy Pro is GPU intensive! You may notice a slowdown after your 5th or 6th scan in succession. Your iPhone is smart enough to slow its processing down during repetitive intensive operations. Taking time between scans will offer better performance.
5. All 3D scan data, processing, and storage take place solely on-device in Scandy Pro. Scan as you please, privately.

Simply dosen’t work.
Probably the worst app that I’ve ever use. Just not working at all.
Subscription doesn’t work
I bought the subscription twice figuring it just didn’t go through the first time. I have 2 charges on my card now and it still won’t let me scan and when I try to restore my purchase the app crashes. Waste of time and money
Pretty good
I haven’t used it yet in a 3d print but I wish there was a pay per scan option.
It maigrit be good but the subscription makes me delete it 🤮
App Crap like many others who follow this bad trend of subscription. We miss the old days where the dev. Put a fixed price like that you know what it is and don’t mind to pay for extra add-ons later. If in the future all the apps and games will be like that nobody will use smartphones and such. Don’t shoot yourself in the leg developers ☝🏻
Utterly useless except for selfies, unless you have lidar
You need an iPhone 12 Pro with lidar to do anything but take selfies.

Seriously ? SAS for a small utility program ?
The program seems decent enough that I would have paid $15 for it, but to charge $100/year is ridiculous. I don’t believe in software-as-a-service in general, and especially not for a small seldom used utility program (I might do 10 scans a year). Get back to reality: you are better off capturing the 100 million casual users at low prices than the 2000 professionals at high prices.

does the app always open to front cam (screen side) on my xr.. is it scanning me to start ??.. i don't want to see me on the screen.. i do want to see the item i want to scan.. whaaaat gives dude ??.. irritating !!
