Just crashes over and over again
This app makes tracking students much more efficient. From class to school events attendance, just swipe a student ID to check them in and out.
I had trouble keeping track of students at school events such as football games, etc. UniScan allowed me to automate this process by swiping student IDs and capturing data. This is a must have for anyone in the education industry!
Our school finds this app very useful and efficient when tracking attendance and events.
We scan student IDs and put them in our database. The app is great.
I needed information on my id
Uniscan was a very quick and effective way of setting up my store's rewards card.
This app worked very well (and for free) for the first year. In the second year, we contacted the developer to troubleshoot an issue and were instructed to delete and reinstall the app, which required us to pay $49.99 for a premium feature (which was free the year prior). We paid for the $49.99 upgrade, but continued to experience issues. Unable to find another app on the App Store purporting to offer the same functionality, we resorted to working with the developer to try to resolve the issues through multiple phone calls and 29 emails over a 5-week period. Each time one problem was fixed, other issues popped up. Ultimately the final straw was when we were unknowingly charged two additional times for the $49.99 upgrade (a total of three times) and $19.99 for another upgrade. In total, we were charged $183.73 after tax for the use of app features that we used for free and without problems the year prior. We had only authorized the charge for the first upgrade of $49.99; the additional charges to our account were not authorized. We learned about the charges only after receiving App Store receipts via email. Even after all the additional charges, the app still does not function properly. Simply put, the app is extremely clunky and riddled with inconsistencies and problems. Fortunately, after relaying this information to the Apple Store, we were fully refunded for all of the app purchases. Unfortunately, we won't be able to recoup the countless hours spent trying to fix the issues with the developer.
I second Christopher Hikel's review--don't miss this app, peoples! Very cool event tool.
