SCCC Tickets

Possibly the worst sports venue app ever. Enough to make you give up and not buy tickets. Losing the club support.

This app simply will not send me the verification email needed to set up the account!! I therefore cannot even view my the tickets I purchased over on the sccc website!! Really what the hell is the point! The last update was a year ago ! And after reading past comments I am not alone in having issues with this useless app !

As a new customer looking to buy my first Somerset tickets (Western Storm game) the entire experience was utterly confusing. I bought tickets on the website by creating an account and selecting my tickets to be delivered via the app. So next logical step would be to get the app and login right? Nope. The app is on some other user database and another account must be created in the app and then linked to the one I created to buy the tickets. Confused? Yeah me too as the app kept telling me the account I could see on my PC screen did not exist… :( Eventually worked it out and it’s a just about functional app that feels unfinished and cheap. Let’s see if they let us in on the day 🤷‍♂️

Advised to use this when booking tickets however none of the purchased tickets appear no option to download them -pop up blockers which were disabled in my phone were repeatedly showing as enabled anytime I tried to access my tickets or try and print them too many bugs to make this a viable app

So I create an account in the app then log in Choose my game which then makes me sign on again and won’t let you proceed until you have linked to a previous ticket account which I’m not going to look for Talk about making it difficult I wish sccc would approach someone to do user acceptance testing if their site and app (which is my occupation) because I can find fault on every page and stage

Got details of this from the latest email news and watched the walkthrough. Setting up was easy but then the disappointment set in. None of the links seemed to work getting the URL unavailable message for the 3 I tried; there’s no way of going to specific game types i.e. the Vitality Blast or ODC you gave to scroll all the way through the fixtures (as far as I can see). I would agree with the previous review not enough location details and doesn’t really bring anything of note that isn’t better direct from the SCCC website.

Tried to sign in using existing online account where I have a platinum membership but it didn’t recognise it, despite working on web site. Not sure I see the benefit of the app at the moment - there’s no ground info or match details which would be useful to have (unless they are coming later)

Great app that allowed me to download my tickets and transfer one to a friend very easily. Go Somerset!
