Used for 56,000 km and counting
I’ve now used scenic for 56,000 km mainly in Australia for on road riding. The app continually gets better. The support from Guido is terrific. Planning rides is simple but also very comprehensive. The ability to organise and search planned routes is really excellent. Importing and exporting GPX files between friends is easy. The ability to record a route when on a group ride and later turn it into a planned ride for another time is great. Scenic is a complete navigation package but clearly Guido continues to fine tune it and support users. It’s the best motorcycle accessory I’ve ever bought
Plenty of map errors costing fuel, and kilometers and difficult to report them. Do better.
Sadly, scenic does not show the correct towns quite often. It literally can’t be trusted.
Check route before you leave 😎
The app creates really nice routes, but DO make sure you check the routes before you start! I have come across some weird directions, telling me to double back or perform u-turns and stuff like that… but that’s my only gripe. Else it works beautifully 👍

It has so many available features, however it is organised for the rider and easy to use.

So far this ride app has out done everything I asked of it and expected of a ride app and more. Still working out how to use all the great features . Happy with it so far.
nothing short of a five star rating
There may be one or two things that one needs to get used to (like moving the map under the waypoint for planning) but after that it is the perfect motorcycle navigation and tracking app. Most importantly, I have been using scenic for almost 7 years now and only went “premium” recently. Why? Because I could see and appreciate that Guido puts thought and consistent effort into scenic.
Simply the best
I never go riding without it. I use it for short trips. Complex multi day trips. I’ve tried them all this one is made by a rider for riders.
