Enter a 90-day trip in the calculator you’re testing. Now check the allowance for the days leading up to this trip; most will say you have an allowance of 90 because they’re only looking backwards. This is wrong, as we know you are already committed to the 90-day trip you just entered. The correct allowance should be zero for the 90 days preceding this trip.
