It’s a great game but I don’t like you have to pay
I like the interface, but I would find this app more useful if it would actually tell me the identities of the different notes instead of just expecting me to know them upfront or figure them out through trial and error. A simple guide through the menu that I could go reference to see the names of these things would be so helpful
Paid for a one year subscription and now the app says my user was deleted. App support is unreachable and ignores email. This app is a scam.
Perfect
No experience reading or playing music. As a beginner, the lessons are intuitive and make learning easy.
Hi there! i'm a vocal student at an arts high school. i'm a sophomore, but since i transferred from the theatre major with no prior knowledge of how music worked and only my natural talent in singing to guide me, i kinda got stuck in the first choir level, so now i'm trying to catch up a bit on my music theory. i ended up getting this app, as well as a few others, just to give it a go and see how it works. i was pleasantly surprised... at first. i did the "2 weeks free if you share with 4 people" rubbish without knowing it would only give me 2 weeks, since it DOESN'T PLAINLY STATE THAT, and that was pretty disappointing, obviously, since i kinda felt scammed..? but it wasn't terribly soul-crushing, of course, and i tried to continue to the third lesson of basics, since i could now access that with my free 2 weeks of pro. when i tried to do the lesson, however, it just... randomly introduced some words i'd never heard before (which is rare for me lol), and then... didn't explain them at all and expected me to answer questions about them..? so that sucked. pretty neat otherwise, though, i guess! ~Bee
You complete 2 micro lessons then it makes you pay a $60 subscription to do anything else. at least Duolingo gives you a choice to subscribe, not this tho💀
Great advice
