Scouting

This app continues to cause confusion for our Pack members. It shows past Cub Scout adventures that are no longer available to be earned since the 2024 program changes. Marking off requirements will then also populate to retired awards which then show to be Approved. It is a mess to back everything out in an attempt to correct everything when this happens. I’m not a programmer but while past earned awards should continue to show for Scouts, it should be a priority to only show and allow completions for current requirements.

I was able to track everything for my son’s activities through his Lion rank, but since completing have not been able to log anything for his Tiger rank even though it shows Lion as 100% completed. It says he isn’t eligible for Tiger rank though I’m not sure how if the previous rank is marked as 100% complete. No one seems to know how to fix it. It would be nice to be able to log more than just one rank and then never again. I also have to log in several times in order to use each feature of the app - it would be super convenient and better if I only had to log in one time in order to use it

It’s a really great idea since I can check on my progress in my phone. But I wish I could submit written notes and pictures under requirements like the website. That way I can submit requirements and get them approved all through an app, no website.

It doesn’t work. It says to update it. I update and it still doesn’t let me log in on my phone. Just keep getting error messages.

This would be great if it worked! 95% of the time I can’t put in comments that it asks for. Super glitchy and unstable. This needs fixed!

Was working fine, then stopped using it for a while and now I can’t get it to do anything. My kid’s profile button is greyed out and won’t click. We’re working on activities at home and I wanted to put them into the app but no. I don’t want to look at my own information. I want to track my kid’s activity.

Not stable or reliable. For an organization that’s motto is be prepared they aren’t prepared for people to use this junk

Can’t even login anymore with Google account

This app works well for me. I can view our calendar and log my scouts adventures. I expect it will continue to improve as the new Scoutbook plus is updated

Significant improvements have been made in the past two years. Integration with (new) online Scoutbook Plus is very helpful and convenient. Two major features I find most leaders and parents desire is 1. Chat Functionality with others in the Unit 2. Sign-up feature for Unit activities (most beneficial to Cub Scout Pack which is parent/family led, as opposed to Scout-led)
