ScoutIQ

Scout Smarter, Not Harder

Published by: Threecolts

Description

ScoutIQ is a scouting app designed for enterprise-level Amazon professional sellers. If you're looking to make money by selling books - or anything else - on Amazon, this is the app for you! Whether you sell Merchant Fulfilled or FBA items on Amazon, ScoutIQ’s mission is to leverage data to help you scout SMARTER, not harder.
Key features include:
++ Downloadable Database - helps you access data faster and in areas without cell coverage
++ eScore - our proprietary data point that gives you “x-ray vision” into a book’s historical sales without leaving the app’s scout screen (no need to pull up Keepa or Camel charts!)
++ Team Mode - scale your enterprise-level scout team by adding child accounts (at a discounted rate), turn on Hidden Mode remotely, in real time, and manage your team through a centralized web portal. This is a game changer in the industry, allowing you to build your team across the country without physically touching their phone.
++ Multiple Trigger Profiles - you can tailor your scouting rules to your unique situation. Build one set for thrift stores, another for retail arbitrage, and another for garage sales. Easily switch triggers when you're out in the field to take advantage of the opportunities around you!
++ Advanced Product Lookups - manually type in ISBNs, use your phone's camera to scan a barcode, or pair the app with a Bluetooth barcode scanner at no extra cost to quickly analyze products that you're hoping to flip
++ Smart Triggers - advanced, customizable triggers look at multiple data points to help you pick a realistic list price for every item that you scan, minimizing blind spots that exist with other apps
++ ScanTracker - measure key scanning stats to identify which sources are worth returning to at a later date
++ Scout Lite Screen - a simplified screen with color-coded bars that help you make faster sourcing decisions
++ Profit-based Approach - our triggers focus on your estimated payout after a book sells, not on the expected list price, so you can make decisions that impact your bottom line, not just your top line
Built for sellers by sellers - we understand the market because we sell in it every single day. We’re proud to employ a US-based support team to help answer your questions.
ScoutIQ pulls data from the US and UK markets only (amazon.com and amazon.co.uk), but we’re looking into opportunities to expand into additional countries and markets.
If you find any bugs or have ideas for improving the app, please reach out to us! We value your feedback and are committed to providing the very best app to help eCommerce sellers manage their businesses more effectively.

Keeps logging out in the middle of scanning and then keeps saying login information wrong then change the password keeps saying wrong use the correct password again and it will say this passwords previously used , it’s very frustrating and a big waste of time

Sign up for the 14 day free trial and you will have to create an account on something call threecolts and even then you still won’t have a scoutiq account. Create that additional scoutiq account and you still won’t get the free trial. They want you to pay for it. Huge turnoff this deceptive info-farming is.

Amazing support !

I worked with the support team as I’ve been learning the app. In both cases they were patience, responsive, and helpful. They stayed with me until I was satisfied. Definitely worth your time to use this app!

Pointless

This was an insanely confusing app. First of all you sign up for scout iq and then your in some weird website of their parent company with all the products they offer - just selling you stuff! Then you can’t get into the scout in app because it says no account four. Because they want you to purchase the product before even your allowed to see the app and if it works good or not. Confusing and not even worth the time to check out further I’ll find an easier app that is simple and not so complicated to start

Accuracy and Consistency Need to be Improved

I used the app with multiple accounts for over a year until I got fed up. Live works fine and is easy to use. Database is so inaccurate you cannot trust it. If you do, you will be making terrible purchases and missing good ones. I contacted the help about this and they said to delete the app to clear the cache. This isn’t the issue. My team would source together. Live and database scans gave very different results. I had to double check everything with live, which resulted in throwing back half of what database told me to get. This was time consuming and frustrating. There’s no telling how many good ones I missed using database. Before I stated double checking with live I was making a lot of bad purchases also. The app is fine with live only. Database is a frustrating waste of money.

Can’t creat an account?

I downloaded the app, but it takes my to the login page and I’m not able to create an account. What is up with that. Also, seeing comments about being charged. I thought this app is to just tell you what the retail value is.

Outstanding app!

I subscribed to Scout IQ on the advice of a number of You Tubers when I was setting up to become an online book reseller. I quickly learned that it is not only valuable for books but for anything that has a barcode. In the beginning I wasn’t signed up for Amazon so Scout IQ helped me customize the app for eBay and other bookselling platforms. When I was approved for Amazon FBA, they helped me add that to my scans as well. Their customer service is unbelievably good. They respond almost immediately. Scout IQ is super simple to use and gives you invaluable information. My subscription pays for itself within a couple of scans. I can’t see how any reseller that works with barcoded items could do without it. Plus, they give you 2 weeks free to try it out. What’s not to love?
