Description

Draw together in real time, from anywhere! In seconds, anyone can follow along with your drawing or draw with you from the app or on the web. Use Scribble alongside a call; talk with FaceTime or any other app you like.
DRAW ON ANYTHING
Draw over pdfs and images. Snap a picture of homework and draw on it, or review a pdf together. Once you are finished, you can save out a new pdf with your annotations.
WEB OR APP
Work with anyone, even your guests who don’t have an iPad or iPhone. The web app can be used to draw using a tablet, touch screen computer, or stylus. Display your live drawing on a big screen in a classroom or conference room using any browser and a convenient link.
SET UP IN A SNAP
Get on the same whiteboard together in seconds. No registering for an account or adding contacts in yet another app. Once you’ve connected in FaceTime or by phone you can tell your guests to join you using a link or a code, for free, with no messy sign ups.
INFINITE SPACE, UNLIMITED BOARDS
Control scrolling of the infinite drawing space so that everyone sees the same area at the same time. Whiteboards are unlimited, so you can start fresh for each topic. Unlike a real whiteboard, many people can draw in the same space at the same time!
POINT AND GESTURE
Point things out as you’re speaking with Scribble’s virtual laser pointer. No more clumsy describing of which part of a picture you're referring to – just use the magical disappearing laser ink. Designate different colors if you and your guests both need to point.
PENCIL SUPPORT
If you’ve got an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, drawing feels especially great in Scribble. It’s like using paper, but you can draw with anyone, anywhere in the world. You can also use Settings to decide what you’d like your finger to do while you have the Pencil in hand.
NEAT SHAPES, STRAIGHT LINES
Can’t draw in a straight line? Neither can we! Scribble helps you draw perfect lines and shapes. Draw and pause without lifting your marker: you’ll see your shape pop magically into a rectangle, circle, ellipse, parallelogram, trapezoid, triangle or straight line.
FREE FOR GUESTS
Inviting people requires Scribble membership, but your guests join you for free. The membership subscription comes free for 2 weeks per monthly subscription, or 1 month per annual subscription. Drawing on your own is also free, and you can keep your whiteboards if you decide you don’t want to invite others anymore.
Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription auto-renews at the same price unless disabled in iTunes Account Settings 24 hours before the end of the period each month. You can go to scribble.cool/cancel for instructions to cancel your subscription and turn auto-renew off.

Scribble Together Whiteboard Reviews

Very nice drawing app. I gives 4 stars for such good digital tools!

1 star took away because there was a lot of glitches. Another took away because of how the tools can be a little confusing to use and there’s not much colors to use. But still fine for drawing and notes. 😁

Keeps kicking me out

I love Scribble I have been using it for years but lately for some reason it’s been kicking me out for no reason please fix this!

Agreed: Almost perfect

•When uploading image to markup, please allow color wheel or full spectrum colors, some photos need specific colors to actually be visibly marked up •I would love it if you allowed maybe multiple minimum 3 or so opacity-customizable layers to markup; certain marks can appear on certain layers so that one can quickly markup between sets of notes on the same page without having to permanently delete the previous markings just yet - at least for projects with only one user Otherwise, the limitless scrolling is actually genius. Same with the vector pen, makes taking quick doodles for notes so much easier. So please add the above •Utter nitpick: an app icon different than the stussy would be nice; and while I really like the 3DLive background, I would prefer being able to choose just a singular color. I think there’s an option and I’m just blind so, I’ll fix this when I find it.

Highlighter, brush sizes, color picker

The thing that shines with this app is the way I can easily connect to another person and doodle or slightly annotate together in real time. The problem with this app is the lack of features. If you expect people to pay monthly, then we need to see this app mature in basic features. If I want to highlight on a PDF, I have to use the horrid shape tool which is not productive. Can we please get a normal highlighter. Can we please get different sizes for each brush, erase (not just delete) a full page, full spectrum of colors via a color picker and allow the user to choose their own color swatches. Basic things. Thanks Bridger.

Update: They’ve fixed pretty much everything I originally had an issue with—I still think this is one of the best whiteboard apps out there! This is by far the best white board app I’ve found on the white board so far, but there are a few things that are missing. First, there should be a way to select the color theme manually. My iPad is always on dark mode, but I’d much rather write on a whiteboard than blackboard. Also, there should be a clear canvas option. I use this app a lot for jotting down scratch work and it’s really annoying I always need to use the selection tool to clear the canvas. And why does pressing on one of the buttons below open (like the marker button) always open up the additional options? It’s a small thing but it really bugs me; it should be a double tap to open up additional options since I don’t want to see those every time I change from the pen to eraser. If these things are fixed I’d be more than happy to give this app 5 stars.

Perfect for remote tutoring with a pdf workbook

ChoirNerd82 on

First time ever writing a review for an app. This app is exactly what I needed for tutoring students remotely! I can import their workbook as a pdf and then we can work on it together in real time. I can see what they’re writing and make corrections, I love the use of the laser pointer tool, and the scrolling together feature is great to keep us on the same page (literally!). Thank you so much for this app, and I hope you keep supporting it through all iOS upgrades as I would hate to ever lose access to it!

Literally the best app ever created

A day does not go by that I do not use this app. I help all my grandchildren with their schoolwork using Scribble. It is by far the most flawless, convenient and productive collaborative app available. To work with anyone on almost anything is as simple as turning on an iPad. Even several years after I wrote the above, Scribble remains the most valuable app I have ever used. As an educator often dealing with remote learning, this is unquestionably the best shared whiteboard app available. With its added features over the years Scribble has become one if a kind.

The app allows me to help my family with homework problems when we’re not together.

One of my most valuable tools

Permian3 on

I do a lot of online educational work and this digital whiteboard app has been rock solid. The best part is that my students don’t need any bespoke software or hardware. I don’t know of any other app that comes close with Scribble in terms of interoperability and ease of use.
