Best introduction to AI art I’ve seen yet!
This is a dead-simple app that can be enjoyed by someone with no technical or artistic background A quick sketch with an Apple iPad Pencil or your finger and a descriptive sentence will generate a full color 512 x 512 pixel image It’s fun to see how simple vs complex drawings are interpreted, or how using keywords change the AI’s output. I’ve drawn web cartoons in the past but it’s laborious and time-intensive to draw them from scratch. I have now used Scribbler to quickly generate visuals to accompany jokes on my social media accounts in a fraction of the time I usually spend doing so. I draw a rough outline of what I’d usually sketch, usually 1-4 times before I like my result. Then I select the easiest image to edit and draw overtop of it to correct whatever the AI got wrong, like the facial expressions, hands, or the number of legs that should be on a dog… haha It takes me about a half hour to do this, whereas I spent about 90 minutes on something I’ve drawn from my own imagination. And these images are full color, something I rarely bother with because of the time that takes. So while this is a very simple app with few features, I think that is a strength. Download Scribbler to discover what all the fuss about AI is actually about.
