We love our scribit and the customer service was on par with the product. We had a shipping snafu with FedEx customs into the US - the Toxicity paperwork wasn’t attached to the package and was returned to sender. Scribit was quick and responsive to resolve the issue and resent the package via DHL - I recommend requesting this shipping service in lieu of FedEx because there was another fee to pay at customs - DHL texted me about the issue and I was able to resolve payment with customs to avoid another returned package.
Love it! I use it in an office context to send inspirational messages to the team!
The app constantly get stuck on “processing.” It’s not until I unplug the scribit to start over does it tell me “connected” or “complete.” It tells me calibration is in progress while showing me how the robots should be moving, but after 9 minutes the robot has NOT moved and I con not exit the screen. Even the “error” messages give no explanation of what the error is!
Probably one of the most underrated art tools currently available. I’ve had nothing but good experiences and I’ve been using it for years now. The self upload is an awesome feature that also has worked nicely ever since they released it. Personally, I’ve had a ton of fun and the app updates have only added to that experience. -J
I’ve been using Scribit in my classroom. It has been used across the curriculum forging ties in ELA, science, mathematics, and coding. It’s such a great way to share and celebrate students’ work while engaging students’ creative and problem solving skills. The support from Scribit’s team has been superlative. Great company. I highly recommend.
They updated and made the app smaller. Well now I can’t see thumbnails of the drawings I’ve uploaded and moreover when I click on one of the blank images there are no options. The update made the app/and the drawing completely useless!
I want to put a menu on the wall in one and a half to two inch high letters. But the app is very unwieldy and I’ve not been able to accomplish this. This should be easy peasy for this machine and the app limits it. I also have a window art gallery for which I bought two scribits. I also want to put daily quotes and drawings on a street window. Perhaps weather forecasts... the price of a local commodity (important to my community) and on the wall inside I also want to have the ability to allow the public to upload designs which will get drawn and then erased in a queue. If there were an api, oh only if there were an api.... I could code all of this. The App Store shows widgets, they don’t exist in the app I just downloaded. I know there have been improvements since launch, this the two stars, instead of one. But when are we going to get the things that will make this device really useable. You’ll sell a ton of them if it becomes useable. Like for menus, text, printing charts as one guy mentioned... please don’t stop working on the code for this, I will update my review with each improvement.
Tapping on the download icon shows the spinner and then times out. Looks like there is no app currently available. For now I can’t even try the app or device.
The current version of the app shows the variable names for objects in the app rather than the intended text!!! Come on Scribit this is complete amateur hour!!!
