Scroll Smarter - Mix

So far

None of my other apps do this not even YouTube. Can't be on Mix for much longer than about 10 minutes or else the back of my phone gets extremely hot to the touch. My battery charge drops faster with this app as well.

I absolutely love this website. I see things I would otherwise never get the chance to see. Keep up the great work!

Just bring back StumbleUpon. Or maybe “HappenAbout”. Call it whatever just bring it back. In all its simplicity. In all its perfection. So many comments saying this. Mix just serves me low quality, grainy, uninspired junk basically. It’s just another place to scroll. I’m never in it for more than a couple minutes every couple of months. Not enjoyable. Where’s the magic?

I love this app!. Wide variety of interesting, funny, beautiful, engaging an educational content that leaves you Lifted. Unlike any other.

I can use the app to look at posts but, for a while now, I haven’t been able to add my own stuff to my collection (@madcopy). I can’t “add a link” while within the app nor can I “share” a webpage or anything to the app while browsing elsewhere. My app is up to date. I’ve tried getting help before (this has been going on for a long time) to no avail.

I was a dedicated, frequent user of StumbleUpon and was devastated that the original iteration of StumbleUpon is wiped from the internet. I was (and still am to a degree) really bothered by it like, probably overboard to be honest. It was really a super special fun thing to be a part of. That being said, while Mix is definitely a “spiritual” successor more so than a close reiteration of SU, I think there is definitely something cool under the surface. I have to acknowledge that I am not *completely* dissatisfied with it like I was expecting. Definitely still shows you interesting cool things and it’s good. If there was only one single thing I would change/add to make this app perfect, it would be to add “Websites” as a media category in the ‘for you’ drop down box and allowing submittals of interesting unique websites into the feed and category tags. For real, the lack of a “websites” category is the ONLY thing stopping me from giving this a perfect score. It would literally add 2 full stars to have that category. Not holding my breath, but IMO Mix is SO CLOSE to greatness it’s right at the tips of their fingers. I hope they would be willing to consider looking into that.

The ventures and experiences I have exploring mix has no limit and no location, I am everywhere and anywhere at once. I’ve experienced moments that touched my heart, motivated me and inspired me Most of all I get a glimpse of some of the complexities of life, the wonder and awe of the world at large and sometimes a way of witnessing and confirming life itself I think in some ways I get to see what God sees and the magjesty created all on a panoramic scale that I totally cherish and relish It’s truly a wonderful untethered feeling, moment, and experience.
