Description

Zentacle is the best designed dive log available, with over 20k active users all over the world. If you're a fan of AllTrails or Strava and love the ocean then you'll love Zentacle.
Search scuba diving, free diving and snorkel spots around the world with maps, detailed reviews, and photos curated by oceans lovers like you. Use this as your dive log to remember where you've been and all the information and notes associated with your dives, and collect digital stamps at participating dive shops. PADI, NAUI, and SSI certified divers can use Zentacle to replace their paper dive log and ensure that you never lose your logs. Works with data from various manufacturers like Apple Watch, Oceanic, Aqualung, Mares, Suunto, and ScubaPro. It also works offline, so you can log your dives and sync them with the cloud later.
Features include:
- Find dive buddies
- See the local conditions before you get in the water
- Find snorkel and dive sites around you and around the world
- Search by country, state, or city to find spots and dive shops before you travel
- Explore dive sites on a map

Functionality

App has pfp’s but can’t actually save pictures. Cool idea, needs some work Edit; Sorry my dude, I just updated and tried again, but my profile pic still won’t stay, and my bio reverted itself to default rather than what I typed? Dunno if it’s an app thing or a problem with your database, but… it’s still not working for me :(

Nice Idea

First, there was a showstopping bug that I reviewed here and they fixed it immediately. I like that the app is actively managed. Now that I can see it, at least right now it has what I hoped for - like AllTrails for diving. I need to spend more time with it. I only rated 3 stars until I spend some more time with it.

Does not work

Loaded it. It forced me to create a dive entry. Filled in all the data. ‘Error saving your dive’. Over and over. Result? Uninstall and cancel subscription! #FAIL
