• This app blocks annoying cold calls (can be switched off). Suspected cold callers are identified before you accept the call. The list of call centres is updated daily.
• Phone directory: Private and business addresses in Switzerland and their phone numbers, updated daily. Find and book restaurants, craftsmen and other services.
• Weather forecast: The most accurate local forecast updated at 10 minute intervals. Animated movies for rain, clouds and temperature. Eight-day weather forecast including min/max temperatures and precipitation.
• Meteo widget: The weather forecast for your location is directly accessible from the lock screen without starting the app!
• Public transportation schedule: Offers the fastest connections for all modes of transportation, including trains, trams, busses and boats. The nearest stops are displayed based on GPS location, and an optional “quick step” function enables additional time savings.
• Tickets: In addition to timetable enquiries you can also buy tickets for public transport in Switzerland.
• Map: The most detailed Swiss topographical map with points of interest such as bus stops, museums, parking garages, restaurants, hiking paths and public fire pits.
• TV Guide and Movie Showtimes.
• With the leisure time planner from search.ch you can access thousands of experiences throughout Switzerland.

Google style cookies!

Nearly every other time the app is opened, cookie settings have to be re-chosen - and the default is “we track and sell” everything (opt-in by default) - which means the user has to manually make deselections regularly and re-save. WHY? Why can’t the app save the user-desired settings and be DONE?!

Reliable except for special events

Generally good and reliable for public transit searches. I like that when you close the app it reopens at your last search. However - how is that an app that is so locally focused and is supposedly so well tied to local transit nets, fails to have updated info for public transit during Zürifäscht?

The best fast view of the next hours weather for Switzerland. You know when and how much it will rain without having to scroll or anything. Perfect view of temperature also in the same graph.

Useless App

Useless app. Can find your location exactly but cannot find the train station in the same area to be able to work out the route planning.
