Era il 1944. La maggior parte del territorio europeo era occupata dalle truppe tedesche. A est, l'Unione Sovietica ha combattuto da sola contro le truppe della Wehrmacht.
Al fine di invertire la tendenza della guerra dalla parte degli Alleati è giunto il momento di aprire un secondo fronte. Sarà un'operazione di atterraggio di scala senza precedenti.
Devi prendere il comando delle forze combinate degli Alleati, pianificare e attuare l'operazione, che passerà alla storia.
Una caratteristica chiave della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, il Fronte Occidentale, è che il giocatore può controllare ogni unità durante la battaglia. Come le strategie popolari degli anni 90 e 2000, il gioco è realizzato nel genere della strategia in tempo reale.
Il gioco inizia un paio di giorni prima del D-day, con operazioni in volo e di ricognizione in Normandia. Quindi atterrerai sulle spiagge dello Utah e di Omaha, prenderai parte all'assalto della Batteria di Merville, alla Battaglia di Brest, alla svolta di Siegfried Line, all'operazione delle Ardenne e alla corsa per Berlino.
Caratteristica del gioco:
- Campagne per giocatore singolo e più di cento missioni basate su eventi storici reali.
- Modalità multiplayer, con la possibilità di combattere con altre persone
- Famosi comandanti: Patton, Montgomery, Eisenhower, che influenzano il comportamento delle unità in battaglia.
- Più di 300 unità uniche di tutti i rami e tipi di truppe, compresi i carri armati - Sherman e Tiger, aerei Thunderbolt e la fortezza volante B-17 e molti altri.
- Un sistema di pompaggio unico dai veicoli corazzati leggeri ai carri armati super pesanti.
- Sistema di clan, puoi creare il tuo clan e partecipare a tornei.

Not like other similar games...
This game has the right idea but it has you spending money to upgrade all the time, at some point it got confusing asking to upgrade since gold limit was reached so upgrade or build Derrick, which I did and was never able to keep collecting gold, there is much better games out there which actually allow you to build your gold or money to build your base without having to spend money all the time.

Ok this is a great game all round but there’s one thing I do want to know and then I’ll get to the details of why I love it for one: do the missions restore like start over again or do you just go away like you know you can complete the mission and not come back? #2: can u add more missions pls! For people looking for a strategy game that is WW2 and easy to play..... You have found it! Multiple tanks,soilders,trucks, armored cars and even planes and paratroopers! This is a great game! All you have to do is join!
It’s fun I guess
While the gameplay is pretty fun and difficult at the same time, I recommend playing this with a pro player (or another friend) because sometimes the units can be hard to make even on the harder levels and also online, so it can be pretty challenging when you are by yourself playing this. It’s still pretty fun game though.:)

One thing that confuses me if you can build a German tank factory why is there German Version of this game
