Mit Seeing Assistant Light können blinde Menschen Lichtquellen erkennen. Die App erzeugt bei der Arbeit einen charakteristischen, andauernden Ton. Je heller das Licht, umso höher der erzeugte Ton. Mit der App kann der Benutzer nicht nur feststellen, ob in einem Raum das Licht an geblieben ist, aber auch ob ein elektronisches Gerät mit Bildschirm an ist oder sogar ob die Signaldiode eines anderen elektrischen Geräts an- oder abgeschaltet ist.
