Doesn’t work well for full parts map, no response from company
I purchased the app after hearing about it in a podcast. I’m training to become an IFS practitioner and am also working with an IFS therapist myself, so I wanted to find an app for mapping parts that I could use personally and recommend to clients. The parts map was barely usable when I first started mapping parts a few months ago. I had numerous long exchanges with tech support. They were relatively helpful with allowing the map to show more than just a few parts and the part cluster option being mostly unusable. That took about a month of exchanges. The map is still not working well because the names of the parts overlap. I stopped trying to work with tech support because I had to keep sending screenshots and videos of what the app was doing, but they kept telling me nothing could get fixed until the next update. It’s been many weeks, and the issue remains. I was prompted to give feedback about the issues I’ve had with the app, but I never received a response. I’m frustrated I spent dozens of hours making my map that I can’t transfer somewhere else, and I would lose access to it if I canceled my subscription. So overall, my experience has been that this was a huge waste of money and time. The idea for the app is great, but if it’s not fully functional and they won’t even respond to people who have tried to work with tech support to fix the issues, then I can’t recommend the app.
Loved it!
Helped me a lot!
So grateful to find this!
I’ve just started working with IFS in therapy, but had a breakthrough experience on my own that left me eager to do more between sessions. After hearing an interview with this app’s creator on an IFS podcast, I downloaded and signed up for the trial. It only took a few minutes with the app to see it’s value, so I subscribed right then. Considering an hour of therapy is $200, this is an amazing deal! The app provides a clear structured interface to learn about and set up a personal IFS model and daily practice. I haven’t explored all that’s offered yet, but the resources available and the sequenced steps already answered a lot of the questions I had after my sessions. The app is beautiful and really easy to work with on both the phone and iPad. I can see it will be my go-to resource and “operating system” for doing the work, freeing up therapy time for the deeper dives. I think reading “No Bad Parts” and using this app could help a lot of people without access to therapy as well. Thanks for a really well designed tool that makes this life-changing therapy more accessible and manageable!
It’s all great, but the buttons are so glitchy
I am loving the app, when I try to type in things in the HTML box, that says “tap here to write,” the keyboard does not appear it appears for a brief moment, and then it keeps disappearing. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you solve it? To developers.- could you help me solve this issue? It is really problematic because I cannot type stuff in.
Great App
This is an amazing great app, that helps with my mental health
Takes ISF healing to a new level
Yes, there’s IFS books, videos, podcasts and therapy sessions- then there’s the work itself. This app is designed for actual practice. Its will help you to know and communicate with each part, help them unburden, collaborate and continually return to cultivating self-energy.
Mapping parts can be overwhelming- this app has the ability to do so visually and also explore each part’s personality. The relationships between parts can be diagrammed. Trailheads identified.
When an emotion or situation arises, there are techniques in this app to help learn about which parts are involved, and ways to bring the “C”s to their experiences. The guided videos actually guide exploration, letting you approach your internal world in gentle ways.
There’s so much more I could say but coming from someone who’s been doing this work for a while and always feel post-session like I’m free-falling till next, I now have the ability to work with my parts anytime, anyplace.
My only warning is that once you start, you might become obsessed with mapping everything. Let the app draw you to where you most want to go. Take the risk of sittung 10 minutes and letting a guided meditation help you explore experientially.
The designers did a mind blowing job of creating a platform where the question “what do I do between therapy sessions” has the answer. Use this app 😀
Glitchy
I can’t get this app to load past the first 2 pages.
Best App ever
I have found this app so helpful in discovering and keeping track of my parts. I love how I can find images or emojis for my parts as well as all of the meditations and questions that allow me to discovering more about them. I would recommend this app to anyone who’s interested in doing effective and deep inner work! 💞
IFS in the palm of your hands
I had been thinking about building an app like this and then discovered it already existed! This is exactly what I needed to help me keep my parts straight and check-in on them between therapy sessions. Looking forward to future developments in the app.
Wonderful app!
This is truly an amazing app! Really, really helps with Parts Mapping and calming my nervous system!
