If you do not know how to get around The Seoul subway you need this app. We used it extensively until we knew which train/station to use. The app will tell you what station you are at and from there which train/s to take. The app lets you find your destination and highlights the stations you pass through. Note, the train only goes one way on a set of tracks, the easiest way to work out which way is to find the next station on the route you want, the next station is listed on the platform with an arrow showing the train direction. I would buy a reloadable card at the station, the cards cost w3000 and then you add whatever amount you need, if you have large suitcases like we did when leaving just go to the swing gate and press the help button, they open the gate to let your bag through. Excellent service and setup made easier by this app.
