Fast way to organize my patterns.
Wish some basic functionality existed like the ability to copy data from one record to another so when recording items purchased at the same time you don’t have to start from scratch for all the details like price or width and gsm, etc.
I have spent time playing with every app for collecting my patterns that I can find. I was using sewing Kit HD but developers stopped supporting it about two+ years ago. With close to 1000 patterns I was reluctant to change. Now, I cannot even add photos to the old app unless I take up phone memory in my pictures to hold them first-did a test run. The only downside I have for all other apps-not being able to use the bar code to input pattern info. SKHD was able to do that. The only problem would be if a number had been reused and I had both in my cache. It has happened. I have been at this for over 30 years. If the 10 or so apps I have found that could work-this one is hands down-the easiest, and best. Thanks. ****** Update: finally bought the full version. However, I cannot get the patterns in the light version to update in the full version. I thought this was cloud based and should update-it will not.
This might be my favorite app of anything on my 3 iPads or iPhone. I’ve used several database and inventory app trying to corral my fabric but this is hands down everything I want. Unlike Cora this app works on all my mobile devices upstairs downstairs or at my kitchen or in store. Spouse is moving his extensive inventory of reproduction and antique vintage fabrics into this. Tags extend the usefulness from seasonal sewing, garment vs quilting vs home dec. The project and idea feature lets me quickly assess if I’m using materials purposely purchased for another project and weigh options, including whether I have enough and where to get more. (I put fabric sku in description) I haven’t spent much time tracking notions, but just wow. Love love it!
Having all my pattern details together is great. Having my fabric sorted with all it’s data is great. I do wish that one could add in the buttons you had made for that blouse just made for great buttons, the ribbons intended as embellishments and the vintage buttons for a third project. I can ads it in notes but pictures, price, source would be helpful
I really like this app! I wish I was a bit more intuitive, but I can’t take any stars away when it has this much functionality. I feel so organized now that I’ve got all my patterns and projects in one place. Thank you!
