SG Cares Reviews

Given the runaround. Both apps don’t work!

I downloaded the SG Cares app only to get a message (AFTER attempting to open it) that says “the SG Cares app has moved to the Giving.SG app. Pls go to App Store to download the giving.SG app”. So I did. I went back to the AppStore again and tried to download the Giving.SG app but after completing the download, the app can’t be opened! It showed a pop-up message that said “Code 99: do not panic. This might not be an issue. Reload the application”. Who are these people running the show?

Apple Pay very buggy on this app

Dunno why. But it’s buggy for 1-2 years already. Not sure would this be resolved

Volunteer history is difficult to access

Singapore

Only way that I see how the user can access their own volunteer history is by registering to another volunteer activity and click the “volunteer history” button.

Technically flawed

1) I donated once via this app, but it was not registered in my profile. Not expecting any form of recognition, but it involved money, I would want to know that the fund was channeled to the needy org. 2) Volunteered twice in June for some community events. Got confirmation email but end up it was a ‘ghost event’, no one turn up for the venue. No number to call to verify as well. 3) Did not volunteer ever since, but just received a notification email to confirm my volunteering on coming Sept event. Who did it for me? Ghost again? Pls maintain it or simply shut it down before it cause more issues to others, be it volunteer or any NGO.

Good idea for an app!
