围棋SGF阅读器，是为iMac版本的围棋狗打谱软件配套而开发的，便于用户通过iTunes的共享文件功能，将通过围棋狗打谱软件导出的SGF格式的棋谱文件导入到阅读器中，再用阅读器打开这些文件，对SGF棋谱进行演示。便于用户在iPhone或iPad上欣赏自己的棋谱文件。由于SGF文件格式不统一，本阅读器只保证对围棋狗导出的SGF文件的阅读正确性，对于从网上下载的SGF围棋棋谱，不推荐用该阅读器来演示棋谱，正确性不能保证。
为方便起见，阅读器本身还附带一些经典棋谱。
如何将SGF文件导入？首先，将设备连接到电脑，然后，
(1) 如果您的苹果电脑macOS系统是较早前的版本，打开电脑上的iTunes，找到共享文件选项，找到IPTV网络电视播放器，添加播放列表文件到文件夹。
(2) 如果您的苹果电脑是macOS Catalina 或 Big Sur或后续版本，您可以直接使用“访达”将播放列表文件添加到iPhone/iPad中的“围棋SGF阅读器”的共享文件夹。
