I don’t want to take the maglev!!!!

I agree with previous reviewers. It’s ok if you’re only travelling in the central area, but very out-of-date for the newer extensions of lines 9 or 5 for example. It seems the developers have stopped responding to these comments. It surely can’t be all that difficult to up-date the app?!

This is the easiest interface to use that I’ve seen so far. Unfortunately a lot of the ‘newer’ (built 3yrs ago) lines and stations aren’t on here. Trying to get to an area and the app saying the station doesn’t exist isn’t the most convenient anymore... (eg Shanghai metro line 9)

Wow this is a game changer as a visitor in China it is one of the best apps I’ve got so far, is there a list of other cities metro systems if there is it would be a dream come true

This is a great app, it is well thought out and has a very clear, intuitive interface. It would be very helpful for veteran expats exploring new areas of the city and tourists in need of a helping hand. All we need now, is a map update to take into account the new stations that have popped up this year!

Excellent basic functions. Clear interface to tell you where stations are in Mandarin and Pinyin, easy to use 'directions' functions which tells you how long it will take from one station to another. This does not take into account walking between lines when changing. A useful addition would be to allow passengers to see first and last trains, the intervals that trains are arriving, live train times and delays, station closures etc. It also takes a very long time to update when new lines are open. Line 13 had been fully open for months before they released an update. Overall fine for getting from A to B.

It was the best app when I moved to Shanghai..... 4 years ago. Now there have been so many new lines opened and they're not included. I would avoid this app and search for a more cohesive one. Shame though

My nearest metro station opened over 6 months ago but has yet to be included. Seems like they stopped updating this app. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Needs updating asap. How can you miss most of one line off?

This was my preferred app for the Shanghai Metro. It displayed names in English and Chinese, so could show to taxi drivers if needed. It showed quickest way and simplest route between two stations which was good. It also offered Uber rides, which I never used but it gave me a rough price of how much a cab would cost. But, they've yet to include the new lines. It's been a while now and I thought they would have added them by now. I was on my way home the other day and I suggested a way home, but my fries with another app suggested a much simpler way using one of the new lines. Needs updating. I may download again if they update soon but for now I've downloaded a different app.
