Do you like automation games? Then you are in the right place!
shapez is a relaxed game in which you have to build factories for the automated production of geometric shapes. As the level increases, the shapes become more and more complex, and you have to spread out on the infinite map.
And as if that wasn't enough, you also have to produce exponentially more to satisfy the demands - the only thing that helps is scaling! While you only have to process shapes at the beginning, you will later have to color them - by extracting and mixing colors!

Shapez Reviews

Fantastic game dragged down by bad DRM

I’ve poured a lot of hours into this game already and plan to do more. It does an excellent job of gradually introducing new complexity and challenges, and before you know it you have a behemoth of an operation with a variety of new projects and reworks to do it. My main gripe with this game is how they’ve implemented the in-app purchase of the full game. It is well worth the price, but it does not appear to save locally the fact that you’ve purchased the game. When I lose access to the internet (something that happens often when traveling with my iPad), the game will forget that I’ve purchased it and gate me from continuing my save, even though I’m well beyond the level 7 free trial gate. Until this issue is fixed, my review will stand at a 3/5 instead of a 5/5.

Good game but should get some improvements for price

Like the game but given price it is frustrating that - you can‘t save your blueprints - tunnels disappear (bug??) - controls are a bit fiddly when building cross map infrastructure

Awesome graphics

I really like the clean graphics

Poor interface

Devs I’m willing to make this 5 star because it’s so fun but the hit or miss interface when interacting with belts and machines on iPad is miserable.

I don’t know what time it is anymore

Interesting but buggy

Interesting concept but input with pen and touch finger are very buggy, hard to position things even on iPad.

Amazing game, but one thing.

This game is nothing short of awesome. Had me hooked since day one, and is worth every penny. The one thing I’m frustrated by is very little, but still effects my designs. Tunnel delay. When shapes go through tunnels, they get slowed down ever so slightly and it drives me crazy. Hopefully there is something you can do about it? Again, great game, no worries.

Wait to buy.

Tunnel belts don't have the throughput that they claim. Blurry icons in dark mode. Can't use the apple pencil or half the screen becomes unresponsive. Last patch was 5 months ago.

Tied for first

My two favorite games on iPad are 1) Shapez 2) stardew Valley Both are immensely fun and great on a trip on the train every am

Great fun, but requires internet connection for some reason. Also many weird mechanics.

Really unfortunate that the full game is locked behind an in-game purchase that requires internet connection to verify each time you play instead of a paid app. If it wasn’t for this, the game would be completely playable offline. I travel a lot, and just learned I can no longer play because of this. Also has a lot of weird nuances with the mechanics such as a balancer not being able to go directly into two tunnels without something in-between them. And ironically it seems the balancers prefer one side more to the other. Still fun to make some spaghetti though!
