Great app but needs improvements
I have used this app for a while, I really loved the idea of 3d designing everywhere ! Tutorials were super helpful, I can also import stuff from my solid works files and continue working on them, but I’m so used to solid works when it comes to the features and how we can interact with it and the most important part is the assembly making where it is much easier on solid works …. This subject has to be improved …. I really wish if you guys bring some of solid works features like mate, smart dimension and simulation in the future so engineers can do everything on their iPads on the go … I believe it is possible for the new super iPads where they are equivalent to MacBooks which can run solidworks using some software called parallel as I believe…. Any ways these are the features that I miss on shapr3d or let’s say it needs to be improved…. Since solidworks and fusion 360 doesn’t have any 3d design software on the iPad …. I guess it is best to seize the moment and shine ….. Wish if solidworks would bring their app on iPad Pros but I doubt them doing it … and it’s been a long time since this subject was discussed with them … don’t get me wrong … shapr3d is great but I’m just more used to solidworks
