PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A NUMBERBLOCK 63 PLEASE
Had this software for a while on the free versions, a few times I needed to expand, so I purchased the monthly subscription, this was at an airport when I was traveling and needed to send the file to be milled out. Card was stolen electronically and got notifications from my bank after the flight. So I chocked it up to being at the airport, so I didn’t pay much attention. I then needed to do the same thing again but this time at work on a different computer, and the purchase wouldn’t go through even though all the info we was correct. Within the hour I was called by fraud department saying my card was stolen electronically, they even told me whereabouts in Europe it was stolen. That was enough proof for me. I can no longer recommend this software. Even if it is easy to use and great for a hobbies. I had to have this happen twice on me, and it’s my fault for doing it two times too many. Stay away.
Will not move past the login screen. Just stays blank.
It’s so frustrating. This app puts other CAD programs to shame. It’s so easy to use and powerful and everything just works how you want it to with ZERO unnecessary complications. By comparison other CAD programs appear to be designed by incompetent developers with no grasp of how to create intuitive user interfaces and workflows. It really is the perfect design app, and at a glance it seems ideally poised to appeal to both professionals who need robust collaborative software and casual hobbyists who want ease of use and a low barrier for entry. But unfortunately the individuals responsible for marketing are not as gifted or invested in accessibility as their software devs. They’ve priced their app in such a prohibitive way that only people using it professionally can possibly justify the cost, losing out on an ENORMOUS population of 3D printing hobbyists who would gladly pay in the neighborhood of $10/month. Without exaggeration, Shapr3D could command the entire CAD scene in an instant by introducing a friendlier pricing option inbetween free and professional. Unfortunately $300+ a year is an unjustifiable expense for an otherwise unparalleled app.
The app has a wonderful UI, works on Mac and iPad, and is a joy to work with. Coming from Fusion 360, Shapr3D has a lower learning curve, but is missing some essentials, like text on path/face, patterns along path/face, and parameter variables.
Hobbyists and small businesses deserve a tool like this. The free version provides a taste, but can’t fulfill the need without upgrading. I would happily to pay a realistic price.
if you don’t have it you a ####ed up
I don’t need or want an account for software that might not even do what I want it to do. The dev can fish for user info and emails to spam someplace else.
Title says it. Better options available for free on pc. I would rate it higher if it allowed a higher quality export. As is, small parts loose too much resolution when exported on the settings allowed for free.
