I am part of a regular morning swim group of open water swimmers at Cowaramup Bay. I look at updates on Shark Smart every morning before I head to the beach. It certainly impacts on if and where I swim. Really useful.

It is so comforting to know that ‘Shark Smart’ keeps us updated on sightings and attacks. Living in Dunsborough we often have sharks hanging around the two jetties. Between the helicopter and the ‘Ap’ it makes us feel safer. Thank you👏👏👏👏👏
The app hasn’t updated in over a week. Which doesn’t make it relevant to what is going on in the water. Can not rely on it for to feel safe in the water.
As a old deep sea fisherman I’ve always been curious about Sharks, seen hundreds of big and small and learnt that they are smarter than a lot of creatures. This App is great but can lag behind real time at times it’s a great way to work out if you want to go swimming in your area and take the chances with Untagged. I think the tagged sharks that register here should have more information supplied such as approx age, weight, type, size, size when tagged and location were tagged and date tagged and last location scanned and how often scanned. People are fascinated with Sharks.
Thank you this app works awesome. I see your alerts when they come through and they’re very relevant and we always check before we jump in like snorkelling, whatever, even though it’s not 100% guarantee you won’t get bitten. It’s Dam lovely to have you on my side,😍combined with always swimming with a buddy. 50/50 lotto lol The percentage goes down quite remarkable Thanks lee 😉😜🤣🤣💜
I love this app. Everything about it. Well… there is one thing about it that I’m not so happy about. I don’t like how it’s only in Western Australia and not in all of Australia. Maybe they could add this in a future update. But other then that I love this app! I like how it’s free and give lots of information about WA. Great app!
Would of given 5 stars if the tagged sharks showed the length and gender when they were tagged
Vewy good. Becaus of this app I saved my sister from a shark attack and I tackled the shark. Very good. I also took the shark out for dinner afterwards Becaus I felt bad for tackling it.😇
It would be good to know the identity of tagged sharks that are detected. I.e Is it a 2.5m juvenile or a 4m adult.
This app has let out a good notice about we’re some sharks have been seen and let’s u report if u You’ve seen a shark around
