Sherlock FREE

Description

Sherlock is a computerized version of logic puzzles, where you're presented with a series of clues that help you to determine the exact locations of all the images on in the puzzle. The puzzles are all 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6. Each row of the puzzle contains images of the same type (faces, houses, numbers, fruit, street signs, letters, etc). The game scrambles the locations of the items in each row (without showing you their locations) and then presents to you a set of graphical clues that describe the positional relationships of different images. You use the clues to deduce where things can't be (and where they HAVE to be) until you know where all the images are located.
Sherlock FREE contains 10 puzzles in each size for 30 puzzles total. The PRO version has 600 puzzles total, and the ULTRA version has 7500 puzzles total. The ZEN version has 150,000 puzzles total. The puzzles in the FREE, PRO, ULTRA, and ZEN versions are all unique, the four versions of the game share NO common puzzles.

Best logic game ever

I love this game! I have been playing Sherlock for over 30 years, first as a DOS version. It NEVER gets old and I’ve bought all the versions ! Well worth the cost of the paid versions.

Best logic game ever

I first bought Sherlock for DOS and the needed to buy a mouse to play it. It's simple, though not easy. It took a while to get used to the mobile gameplay, though otherwise it's the same game. Because there's no reading involved in the game, my kids learned to play before they could read.

For any mystery lover!!!!!!!!

Great puzzle game combining both elements of deduction and logic. I have been trying to find a game that combine logic and deduction for a long time. And this is the best one that I have found (on iOS). This is a true game with both of them that makes you actually and solve what place where. They are other version of this app with different/more puzzles and levels, with a price, but in truth I believe there are all a fair price and it’s worth the money.

Seems like a good game but it’s bricked itself

In the middle of a game the play area stopped responding completely. I’ve closed the app and restarted it several times now but the app is just a brick. I would’ve bought the full version but if the game doesn’t work it doesn’t work.

Ultimate Logic Game

This one got it all right. What began as shareware in the 90s is still a home run; if you liked the systematic logic grid games from the old Dell books, this is the logic game for you. The original included 65,000 different puzzles. I’d finished about 22,000.

THE best game app!

No time pressure, easy graphics, using my brain for FUN and exercise! I donated $5 waaay back when this was on shareware, just found the app... my daughter n I had a bet who could go longest without paying for an app... this is the ONLY app I’ve ever paid for n I’ll do it again if I ever have to! THANKS SHERLOCK!!!

Great concept! Totally different.

Well thought out yet simple. I am so tired of the same old games being repackaged over and over again. This is logical and the only thing stopping you from getting a fantastic score is the way you use your brain power. Absolutely love the game, best gaming value I have found. So why only 4 stars? A request to the developer, the score handling is not good. There is no instant reward/feedback (apart from the annoying splashscreen). You’ve done the hard part and created a game worthy of accolades, but the interface needs work. When I finish one puzzle, I want to take a few seconds to review my score not immediately be presented with the next puzzle. I want to see how I did compared to other players on this puzzle and compared to all puzzles. Yes, you can get there, but I always waste a few precious seconds having to hit “more” and then “scores” before the clock on the new puzzle starts ticking. Personally, if you take a little time(get some professional help if needed) and make the interface much slicker and the graphics more “glitzy”, this game could easily become the thinking person’s “Candy Crush” Good Luck!

I bought the full version before the iOS update and there’s no way to download it. I don’t want to rebuy it again.

Awesome game!
