ShoeCycle Reviews

A great start!

This is a nice little app. I’m using Apple Fitness to track workouts (recorded in a few different apps) and needed a single place to track shoe mileage. This seems to fit the bill. The only downside is that this requires manually entering (and remembering to enter) every workout. It’d be great if it could pull workouts from Apple Fitness and create draft entries that I can then associate with a shoe. That way I can go tag a bunch at once and know I’m not missing any.

This app is awesome if you care about your feet and want to track mileage. The developer is super responsive… nice job!

Put all the time into adding mileage on my shoes. Just to come back and be told I had not shoes. Erased all my progress.

How does this work?

I have set up my current shoe, connected to Apple Health…now what? Firstly, I entered by hand the number of kms since I started wearing the shoes (10.5). When I go back to the screen, it says 21km…? Huh? Why? Today, wearing the shoes for a long walk and when I checked again, nothing has changed. Still says 21 kms. I do not get this app.

Simple, but not quite it

All I want is a simple shoe mileage tracker than can import my run distances from Apple Health or my Apple Watch. Is that impossible? I don’t want to have to look up each run and retype the distance when it’s available...

Almost Perfect

Finally I found a shoe tracking app that is just that. I was using Nike Run Club strictly for a shoe mileage tracker, this app just does exactly what it’s supposed to do and pretty well so far. I would like to see the addition of data sync to iCloud in case the app was deleted. With that feature, all previous data could be recovered. Definitely recommended to all runners who want to track shoe miles.

Wonderful

Clean simple interface. Sometimes less truly is more and this app could not be simpler or more useful for runners. Thanks for the great app!

It’s simple and good

It’s simple and good for tracking mileage on multiple shoes. But please add monthly and yearly statistic mileage function.

Love it - simple and effective

Updating: just switched to an Android phone and this app isn't available. I was surprised to find only a couple shoe trackers for Android and they're not very good. For instance, I can't enter by date like I can here. It's not really critical that I track shoe mileage but I like doing it, so I love and miss your app. Please add an Android version! ---------- Original review (still true)... The important thing about an app like this is the efficiency of entering daily mileage. That aspect is what earns this app my 5 stars. A while back, the developer responded to me in a nice email to say that he had made a fix based on a suggestion I had. I am impressed! The only other issue I have found (very minor) is that the up/down toggle to change which shoes are selected doesn't work but there is another easy way to do that and I do it rarely, so it doesn't really bother me.

Exactly what I want it to be

Easily tracks mileage in multiple pairs of shoes. Great way to know when it's time to replace.
