ShopSavvy - Barcode Scanner

The idea is great but this app doesn’t work. It was confusing to start using because I only wanted to try the free version and I think it’s trying to trick you into paying for a subscription with vague options at initial use. Then, once in the app, there are very few return results when you search a product. It was useless. Hopefully one day they can get it to work because it would be useful.

I search for products and choose the one I want then it comes back with no results. Even though I know the products are sold at multiple different places. Sounds like a good app but was only a waste of time.

Still doesn’t work in Canada. Only shows US retailers

Honestly, the idea is so brilliant - but the retailers are so limited that almost all the products I scan show nothing. Once it includes almost all grocers someday, this will be incredible.

Very slow, cannot find price of common item like Aveeno lotion

Down loaded the ShopSavvy update. It will not open on iOS 4

Full of ads, search super slow and the styles in the app seem totally broken, can barely read the text. There is zero value in using this, you are better off searching on Google, stay away.

Used to work ok but now almost never gives prices. Just says what it is, like I dont have eyes?!

Tried 3 items and not 1 was found locally including an item I just bought from a retailer yesterday.

All it did was direct me to Amazon for everything!
