Not sure where models come from
I was merely looking for “fbx viewer iPhone” on the App Store, hoping to find something that will open an .fbx file on my iCloud Drive. This seemed like what I needed: no in-app purchases, free, all’s good! Or maybe not? Well: this certainly is a 3D viewer. It seems to be a part of a larger cloud software package, something that is not clear from the product page. There is stuff in the gallery as a demo for a signed-out user. If you are the user of this online service, you’ll likely be happy: there’s some AR integration (although putting an object between camera and 3D model won’t clip it like it does with other viewer software). However, I am not. I just need an FBX viewer for my local files. It was not instantly clear from the product page on App Store that this isn’t it: I have no need for a service like this when I merely need a quick viewer.
