SideBooks is a high performance, high speed PDF viewer that allows you to enjoy reading with the feel of actual paper.

Curl animation that simulates the actual turning of paper pages has been added to the standard page slide function.
Supports viewing from 3 directions, documents that open left to right, right to left and vertically. It provides the optimal environment for viewing any book.
All zoom rates have been optimized providing high speed, dynamic screen display.
An infinite hierarchy of folders can be created, moved, deleted, renamed, etc. using the enhanced bookshelf management function.
Real visual bookshelf function that corresponds to back cover style display.
Files can be imported by 3 methods, Network transfer through Dropbox, USB transfer through iTunes and direct transfer from other applications.
Books can be protected so others cannot view them by using the password protected locking function.
This is a universal application that operates on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Good for comic, recomended app

Not high speed

Poor frame rate on the page flip animation on A7 device.

uncomfortable to use

when i rotate the screen, this app not automaticly adjust the margin. its not easy to read comic without auto zoom like that.

Got new account

I don't know how, but after updating to a newer version, i've got a new japanese account on my sidebooks. That account got A lot of japanese articles and some comics. I cant even read japanese ?!?

Great yet could improve more

Very useful, fast, and easy to use. My most favorite app to use for browsing archived files, like reading manga. Still, missing a basic feature for deleting items. Swiping left or right at an item usually show the delete button. And once the file size gets bigger and more, iTunes sync backup all of the items and taking quite awhile. Should be an option to turn off data backup for the items. Overall it's the greatest app I've came across for it's purpose.
