Great app when it works
So this is an incredible app, what would be great is if it would stop crashing right when I submit the game. 3 times now I hit submit and the app crashes…all notes and data completely lost. Not great.

So far this app is nice. It is difficult to learn all the different shot types, but I generally like how it is set up. It is probably best on an iPad due to the multiple options on one page. It is difficult to see the text and the shot location map is hard to get right on the small screen. The one issue I had was that the second game I tracked the app deleted the game. It was a slow game and the shots were few and far between, so when I woke up my phone everything I had tracked for the first 2.5 periods was gone. Kind of disappointing. I’ll keep using it for the month, but if it keeps erasing the game before it is saved, I’ll have to find something else. It would be nice to have the option to delete a player or edit a player name when they are misspelled.
Appreciate this app a lot. I like what it has taught me about the caliber (ease and difficulty) of shots/saves and plays a goalie makes. I think the instructions to learn the app are really really well done. Thought I would offer some feedback of improvements I would like to see. 1) Be able to edit the game in more detail. Example add each save/action recorded to an editable list. I’ve accidentally hit the buttons but did t realize it until much later. This info is not official so I feel there is no reason to be locked down at any point in its collection even if it’s after “submit”. Which is where I noticed a goal on wasn’t recorded. My hack was i take a screenshot of each game tally screen before I submit just in case I mess up. 2) I have a single goalie subscription. I use my iPad when watching video mostly but would like to use my phone out in the field as well. But my phone won’t load my games and goalie info that was saved on the tablet, though it allows me to login . (Bug maybe?)
You have to pay for subscription. Can’t even do a trial run w/o paying. Pretty dissatisfied SIG.
This is a game changing app for any goalie parent or coach. Not only does it provide a simple to use interface to track the basics, such as shot counts. It does so in a manner that elevates the understanding of the game from a goalie point of view, such as shot types and classifications. I've used this app for a while now and being able to subjectively have conversation with my son has vastly improved, no more car rides home with the feeling of giving my opinion. I look forward to incorporating this into his development and to provide more immediate and useful feedback to his coaches. Highly recommend for every goalie parent.
As a former goaltender, I wish this type of app existed when I played in order to get better feedback on how my game to game performance was. Being measured by raw safe percentage isn’t as helpful when the quality of shots vary so widely by game. This app allows real time feedback which is critical. I’m going to use this for the goalies I coach this fall, very helpful app!
