O aplicativo SIGA disponibiliza aos usuários um leitor e decodificador de informações codificadas em um QR Code (Quick Response Code) gerado pelo serviço SIGA Web, bem como verificar a originalidade do QR Code através da verificação de cabeçalhos nos dados. O aplicativo decodifica e mostra na tela as informações decodificadas para que possam ser comparadas com o documento físico ou identifica falhas na leitura ou dados fora do padrão dos cabeçalhos utilizados pelo serviço SIGA.
