I recently started using the SignShine app, and I have to say it’s been a delightful experience. As someone eager to learn and teach my children sign language, I was looking for an interactive and user-friendly resource, and I found it when using SignShine! The app features a clean and intuitive design, and navigating through the lessons and resources is straightforward, which is crucial for someone just starting out like me, and especially for a baby learning any language at all. I love the layout because it’s visually appealing, and makes the learning process enjoyable rather than overwhelming. As I go through each lesson and module with my child, they are well-structured and engaging, introducing new signs gradually and reinforcing them through quizzes and practice sessions. I appreciate that the app includes videos demonstrating each sign, allowing me to see the nuances of hand shapes and facial expressions. I have found this to be very effective with my children and I think it is a great way of communicating with kids in general, even before they learn to speak!

SignShine, while locked behind monetary walls, is quite worth the purchase. My uncle recently had his first child, and I had recently learned about the benefits of raising multilingual children in an Infant Development class. Thus, I suggested that he expose his child to different languages to boost the amount of vocabulary and learning benefits for this child. The class also discussed the benefits of teaching infants sign language while they are pre-verbal. Thus, I gifted them this app and they said it has been amazing. Jackson (their son) has been able to communicate his needs with us through simple signs, such as “Play” and “I Love You”. It’s such a delight to sign to him “I love you” and have him sign it back. SignShine utilizes popular children's songs with catchy medleys and supplements them with a child-friendly videos teaching them the basic ASL. Makes for a great baby shower gift :)

This is a very intriguing app for little ones and parents. However I believe as if the app could be updated a little bit. It is a little challenging to access the videos on my phone, and the format of the app doesn’t fit my phone screen. Although this app does have great signing and great information for parents and little ones. I love the links to Dr. Etel Leit’s YouTube videos and personal information as well. The app has great images and colors meant for children and I think it is very entertaining for little ones as well. I will definitely be using this for the little ones that I watch!

This app has been a game-changer for us!! From entertaining videos to easy tutorials, it's made learning sign language fun and interactive. It's not just about entertainment; it's also helped my child's communication skills blossom beautifully and I have much better communication with my child thanks to this. Highly recommend for any parent looking to bond with their child while learning together! 🌟

I recently downloaded this app and am amazed! I have been using it with the youngest members of my family and love how it is so much more than just a music app. The lessons integrated into each song on the app are amazing to promote communication with little ones through sign language! 🤟🏻 Etel’s lessons are clear and concise, and the app itself works beautifully. It is a colorful and lively interface that gets little ones excited about learning, and is simple to use for adults. I can’t recommend this app enough! 👶🏼✨

This is a very cute and awesome app to teach sign language to your child🩵 it is very colorful and stimulating for babies. It does a very good job at catching their attention. If you want your baby to learn self expression and communication this is definitely a great way to begin

You guys need to download this app! It is very helpful and a great way to strengthen sign language skills! I got this app for my little sister and she really enjoys it! They love to sing along and dan e to the music. I really recommend it. Totally worth the price!!

I love the signshine app!!! I bought it for my niece about two weeks ago and she is already learning so much. Rather than just playing games on her iPad she goes on the signshine app and does the activities! I take care of her on fridays and it has became a ritual for us to engage in the signshine app to have fun and also learn. I am so glad I made this purchase, it is an amazing resource for starting your baby sign language journey!!!

Not only is this app adorable, but it also keeps my little one engaged! I like how the songs change speed, it's not too boring for the kids and it tests how well they know the signs. A great supplement paired with Etel's lessons!!!
