This app is pretty pointless at present. It needs an internet connection to work, which is none existent at Silverstone during an event. The map needs to reload whenever you move between screens and many of the links simply take you to a website. If it had offline maps and timetables it would be invaluable.
Silverstone require you to create a third account to use this app on top of (1) buying tickets and (2) downloading and using tickets. Three log in ids etc to attend a single event…what are you playing at! And this app is even worse than the ticket app. Scroll down the timetable for the festival for all 3 days and events later in the day are missing, so these cannot be added to the personal timetable. Altogether makes the app useless! Silverstone need to have a big rethink on apps and customer engagement.
This is pure sales app, nothing you need before the event until it’s too late. Doesn’t interact with the ticket app. Just getting users info so they can push you future events. Can’t believe expensive ticket sales pay for this rubbish. Speak to users before you build an app.
The fact this needs to load every time you open the app is problematic. Especially when you can struggle to get connectivity at the circuit.
Content of app is great when you can actually access it. The design of the app is fundamentally flawed. It needs to cache data so it can be used offline as getting online on race day is near to impossible.
The app works great IF you have mobile reception of Wi-Fi. I was at F1 over the weekend and it didn’t work as there is no 5G or Wi-Fi. We had no clue when thing wet happening as the app wouldn’t load. Take screen grabs before you go!

Functionally the app seems fine and seems to contain all the required information, but why on earth do I need to create an account? I already had to create an account to buy tickets and another to access the tickets in a separate app. Three accounts across two apps and a website for a single event is horribly dysfunctional and a bad user experience.
This new app doesn’t recognise my account (used on the website and ticket app) exists already and instead wants me to sign up again. I’m worried to create another account with the same email in case it causes problems with the existing account which holds tickets I need to use in less than a week
This is going to be so helpful planning my weekend!
