Description

A minimal and beautiful app to quickly find and copy universal symbols and their HTML codes.
--Symbol Library-------
• ISO-8859-1
• Reserved Characters: &, ', "", etc.
• ISO 8859-1 Symbols: ¡, §, ¼, etc.
• ISO 8859-1 Characters: Æ, Ã, etc.
• HTML Symbols
• Math Symbols: ∑, ∫, ⊕, etc.
• Greek Symbols: Ψ, θ, etc.
• Other Entities: ‰, ™, œ, etc.
• Special Symbols
• ⌘, ↩, ⌥, etc.
--Equation Editor-------
An equation editor can be found on the top of the table view. You can copy multiple symbols and they are added to the editor in order. You can also edit the equation using a keyboard, which also lets you easily copy it! Thus, you can compose entire equations in 'Simbol' and then copy them for use in another app.
This doesn't take away your ability to copy individual symbols. When you tap the 'Copy' buttons in detail views, you get that symbol on your clipboard, in addition to it being added to the equation editor. :)

Simbol Reviews

Does not work with iOS 13.5 (17F75)

rootdr on

United States

Constantly freezes. Search box does not offer ability to type as iOS keyboard never appears and then the search box moves up and disappears. Plain doesn’t work.

Used to be the best -- 4 years ago

It was one of the few that had search. It hasn't been updated in 4 years because the developers don't care about their users. Its search doesn't even work now. Uninstalling.

Use it all the time

Very important resource for boosting my productivity and getting to some of these essential symbols quickly.

Neat little app, most useful

Kausik on

United States

It's been a few years I see, since the app got its last update, but no matter - this neat little app is very helpful for use on the iDevice platform. It has made life much easier for me by providing a handy collection of symbols that I use the most, including math symbols. Thanks to the author.

Keyboard option?

BlackFoxAlpha on

United States

I'd really love for this to be a third-party keyboard. As it is, it never gets used because it's buried somewhere else in my phone. I wish I could just switch to it as I was typing to make the experience seamless.

Missing symbols

Didn't have the symbols I was looking for. App looks ok, kind of non intuitive to work with. I found a better app UniChar that fits my needs

Amazing.

A very beautiful way to find symbols when emoji's don't do the job. Very well done!

Great and useful app but

Beautiful user interface. However I have to fight an overwhelming urge to delete it due to its new logo/icon.

Simple and efficient

Mahalis on

Does exactly what I need it to do. Much faster than searching the web for the symbol I’m after.
