Simple Call Blocker is a utility that lets you block unwanted calls to your iPhone.

It allows you to block individual numbers, or ranges of numbers.

You may also add individual numbers or ranges of numbers to the Allow List, so that they will not be blocked by this app, even if they are in the Block List. Optionally, you may also allow all of your phone's contacts.

## Does the app contain a list of known phone spammers to block?

No. Simple Call Blocker does not provide or maintain a known spammers blacklist. There are several other iOS call blockers that do, which you can use for free, if that feature is important to you. You may use Simple Call Blocker in conjunction with one of those other apps to blacklist additional numbers.

## Why would I use this app?

Three reasons:

1. Simple Call Blocker allows you to block a range of phone numbers, to help prevent “neighbor spam”, for free. Other apps may let you blacklist individual phone numbers, but require an in-app purchase or paid subscription to block ranges of numbers.

2. Simple Call Blocker does not collect your personal information. You do not need to provide it access to your contacts unless you wish to enable the “allow all contacts” option. In contrast, some call blockers require a subscription or even a login to their web service in order to work.

3. Simple Call Blocker is designed to be very simple and reliable. In contrast, with many call blockers, it is hard to determine how many numbers are in the blacklist, whether or not the “Call Directory app extension” is loaded, and so on.

## Privacy Policy

Simple Call Blocker does not collect any of your information, period. No data within the app or accessed by the app is ever transmitted to the developer.

Great little free application highly recommended does the job well

Didn’t work out for me

I am being hounded by scammers who are using a wide array of 0203 numbers. I wanted to block all 0203 numbers but I couldn’t because the range would be too broad for the app to handle. I hit a threshold for max number of phone numbers. I need 10,000,000 but it flaked out somewhere between 1,000,000 and 2,000,000. It’s a pity it didn’t work out because the concept for this app is great. If you are blocking are smaller range then I’m sure you’d find it useful. Plus it’s nice to see that the app doesn’t harvest any personal data.

Brilliant but no SMS?

Brilliant app. It’s a real shame it doesn’t seem to be able to block SMS from the same numbers. I thought that blocks were blocks but it seems that the app blocks only calls. This might be ios but other apps claim to filter the SMS also. Still five star. Only claims to block calls

Just the job for blocking computer generated calling. Fantastic.

Didn't Work

One star didn't work for me still received calls from all the number ranges I blocked

No Good

Supposed to be blocking spam calls and all of the above yet still spam calls still coming in spam emails still coming so what is the point

No details & notification of blocked calls

A good app but it doesn’t show the details of the blocked calls eg. numbers, date & time of the blocked calls as well as the notification to let you know of such blocked calls. Please can you implement these features.
