Can’t play multiplayer & account blocked only because there were no rules back then

I updated this app to a newer version and I can’t even play multiplayer, all of my hard earned coins are gone and same with gems only because I did stuff that the rules NOW said not to do How could I know that stuff was not allowed when back then there were no rules of that?
