I don’t buy many apps but this was a no-brainer purchase that immediately replaced the solution I had been using for years.

This is the best scanner app I’ve used on the iPhone. Nice and simple, easy to use. Several scanning apps I have used previously are cluttered with unnecessary features . . . Simple scan gets out of your way and lets you just get things done. Highly recommended.

I love this scanning app. While you can build a shortcut to make this easy, just buy this app. I recommend it to so many people. The developer does a great job with this app and another favorite of mine, DRAFTS. A few things I love: The ability to email or message a scan to anyone, including myself automatically. I use the save to file feature the most. You can chose the location and have it as the default, then anytime you scan it will save it there. I save it to a desktop folder called “simple scan” this way I can retrieve anything I save there from ay device. This app is a must have for anyone who scans documents on a regular basis.

I used to only scan documents in the Apple Notes app. Now, I can do it whenever I want and even save the documents DevonThink. Cool!

Simple Scan is wonderful. It’s simple and straightforward, very iOS-focused and well-integrated into the system. The file name templates are great, as are the custom destinations. Scans are high quality and the OCR works well. All this and no bloat, no ads, no data harvesting, and no privacy concerns. A refreshing approach to software these days. Highly recommended!

I have been using Scannable for a few years now. Unfortunately, Evernote has gotten greedy and while Scannable itself is free, is usability has been reduced while a hidden cost has been added. Now, you have to have Evernote to get your scans out of Scannabke. And Evernote is really costly. Simple Scan steps up and, while it is not free, it is more than reasonable at $5 annually. Or $50 lifetime. It is a little more clunky than Scannabke, but it is a great, simple scanning app that I think will fit our needs. I happened across it in a review by one of the Apple dedicated RSS news feeds. I would like to see this app be simplified to the extent Scannable was, but I get it. I hope the developer does well with it, and I will start using it today! Goodbye to Scannable and Evernote; hello Simple Scan!
