90 dB - Very noisy, nerve damage
100 dB - Increased noise, hearing damage
120 dB - Unbearable

Half the time app won’t open ask demands mic permission that’s it already has.

Bad its doesn’t work
Sound Meter
It was working fine, but now it doesn’t. It is asking for microphone permission, but doesn’t say how to get it and nothing I touch seems to get microphone permission.

Good db reading and frequency graphic display best app. For the money used it today in a Zumba gym To calibrate sound in the room.

What’s the standard to calibrate against? It won’t read loud sounds. Not on an iPhone.
