Namaste for Meditation is the perfect timer for zen and zazen, any kind of meditation, really. It gives you only what is absolutely necessary during your meditation sessions. It's simple, focused, and minimalist.
You can take advantage of features, such as:
- multiple profiles
- detailed statistics
- a collection of chimes
- open and silent sessions
- several themes to fit your practice
- reminders to remind you of your practice
- integration with Apple's Health application
You can choose from a variety of configuration settings to guide you through your meditation sessions. Even though it comes with plenty of options, it's simple to use. I'm sure you're going to love it.
Namaste Premium is an optional, yearly subscription that you can purchase to unlock additional features. The payment for Namaste Premium is charged to your iTunes account. Awesome app
This app is great and so is the developer! Anytime I’ve had an issue with the app, he responds immediately and fixes any issues with an update to the app. This is the best meditation app out there. Simple and great 🔔
excellent meditaiton timer
I am happy to have selected Namaste for Meditation as my timer. The timer I'd used previously became difficult to manage because of all the teachers and workshops that it promoted before being able to get to the timer. This is elegant simple and very easy to manage. The one minor problem is that as I swipe from one "profile" to the next, the settings sometimes change just with the swipe. It would be better if the profile page were stable, and only be changed by going into the profile settings. Absolutely no other problems with this timer...
Fantastic app
Simple, beautiful, customizable, HealthKit enabled, ad free. Everything I want in a meditation app. Lovely options for sounds for start, end, or timed during a session. Been a fan for years, happily subscribed to premium ($10/year) for multiple profiles. Highly recommend!
Good
In general, I’m pleased with the app. It is much like its predecessor. However, just today I noticed it is failing to log some of my meditations. I am also looking forward to an Apple Watch app as well as iCloud sync.
Great app, with one exception
As with a previous viewer, I am also experiencing the failure of the warmup interval intermittently, and sometimes have to restart my session a few times to get it to kick in. With that said, due to the fact that there is no way I can deduct one-half star and I don’t consider this a full star issue, I am still giving this app five stars because from previous experience with this developer I am sure that he will fix this.
Least Disruptive Meditation App
Great for all types of meditation, especially Transcendental Meditation! Very discreet and customizable, no distracting times or timers if you don’t want them.
Good but has some bugs
The warmup timer seems to randomly work. I have it set to 20 seconds and sometimes the session just starts while other times it does the warmup first. Totally random.
