Wont work connecting so don’t waste your time on it
I got a hole box of theses bulbs in the mail and I tried to make them work like I can’t get the light to flash am I doing something work
Patiently trying g to work my way through these bulbs. The connection is terrible, I’m on a Google mesh system. One bulb furthest way is consistently online, most which is very close to access point won’t connect. Maddening.
I got smart plugs through my utility provider that only work with this app. They don’t work with HomeKit, the app doesn’t work with iOS Shortcuts app, IFTTT. I can’t even add a widget to my Home Screen. Obviously HomeKit would be best, but IFTTT or Shortcut support would be a decent workaround. Even a widget! So here I am, having to find and open the app just to turn off a lamp when everything else in my house works with Siri. Is that lazy? Yes. But I’m all in on iOS and Siri so this is a bummer.
Stop
The app lets you select a time for the bulb to go on but there is not obvious way to tell it when to turn off. The only possible option I could find is TIME LEFT. What the heck does that mean. Why not just have a TIME OFF option??? It would be good to have a choice to turn it on and off randomly. All the old fashioned, but effective, timers have this option. Lastly there are ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS as to how to use the app. This is my first time setting it up so will see if it actually does what I programmed to do.
