This is a terrific learning app for Urdu. As a native English speaker the prospect of learning such a rich and beautiful language as Urdu is overwhelming. However, this app provides ample basic phrases and with practice one can make great strides in learning the language. Keep at it!
I wanted to learn since my family speaks Urdu so I tried many apps but this one is the best I could find. It helps me understand and speak Urdu better.
So I was using the app And it was really good but the problem is like why do I have to pay money to learn I went to this topic and it said I have to PAY!?like what I have to pay to learn urdu?!but it is good just don’t like that pay part And also no adds and it’s perfectly fine
Often the transliteration is just wrong and matches neither the nastaliq nor the urdu pronunciation. Less frequently, what is written in urdu does not match what is pronounced. As I’m not an native speaker this leaves me wondering which version is correct.
I got this app a couple of weeks ago and it’s been working ok for, but I have been wanting to learn others phrase that I’ll use everyday, instead of just the basic conversation, and the beginners traveling area. But I have to pay to get it, and for someone like me who can’t just spend their money however they want to, I think that these type of learning apps should make it free. And I get they need money, but they ca do that by ads. Hope you fix this
Asalamulaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakathu, I was searching for an app that would teach the Urdu language the right way with an instruction on grammar. I have not found such an app on the AppStore. If anyone reading this finds one please reply to my review. Anyways this app on the other hand teaches you a lot of phrases that you can rote memorize to get yourself around in Pakistan. This is all this app promised to do and it does it well. I like that you can quiz yourself on every category to help memorize the phrases. Since this app does it’s stated function well I have rated it five stars. But I hope the developers can make a new app that can actually teach Urdu grammar as you cannot learn a language without that. inshAllah.
