🤔 The SkedPal app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
SkedPal 3 is my secret weapon for getting things done by their due date but, more importantly, for prioritising time to chip away at long-term projects that don’t have an immediate due date.
I’ve used SkedPal for several years now and hands-down this is the best software for professionals whose role involves a mix a short term and long term goals.
I can fully trust SP to plan my day for me and I know I won’t miss a deadline while working towards the completion of big projects.
I use it daily!!!😁

Bugs
I do like skedpal and what it’s trying to achieve. However, there are some bugs that just make life hard when u can’t access ur computer.
The bugs are:
1. Can’t move the sequential order of tasks in a project’s task list
2. Dosnt delete tasks when you try to on a task list.
Also for the iPhone, adding in a ‘swipe left to complete’ and ‘swipe right to delete’ is a must for a to do app to feel modern.
However apart from these, I think the app is a great companion app for the great software skedpal is.
In Law School w/ AuDHD
This app is a 💯 game changer. I will never not recommend this app. I STRUGGLE with organization. My life and job are dynamic and a Calendar AI is amazing. I am learning about Asana, and I think that integration will be great.
Only thing, I wish there was an Apple Watch app. I got my first Apple Watch a couple weeks ago with the purpose of staying organized. In SkedPal I have not figured out how to get alerts 15 minutes before the next event. It has to exist somewhere. If I could have SkedPal on my watch with notifications I would be golden.
Potentially powerful but huge learning curve
Pluses: good rescheduling; tasks in outline form works well with my brain; potentially very powerful; tweaks in colors of tasks and events is helpful; solid calendar integration. Minuses: not very intuitive, steep learning curve (I gave up several hours in and after 10+ videos); had issues with seeing notifications on iOS and Web apps; iOS app does not match the Web app and hasn’t been updated for over a year; natural language processing is far from complete vs similar apps; expensive.
Laborious Set Up 🤬
Don’t waste your time like I did. This app and it’s NLP trash are not helpful. I couldn’t even get through the setup before I aborted this app. At the moment I’m trying to reach support to see how I can delete my personal information from their servers and EVEN that is difficult!! OY!
Love the website, but the app…
The concept and execution of Skedpal is amazing. The reason I give this 3 stars is because the app itself lacks many important features. Almost all of the settings have to be changed on a computer. Adding sub-tasks is either nonexistent or hidden somewhere where i can’t find it. The UI on the website is clean and intuitive, but on here it feels cheaply made.
Solid idea crappy execution
Not user friendly at all.
No decent instructions or tutorials.
Chaotic.
Fantastic tool for prioritizing your time
I’ve been using SkedPal for a few years now, and the computer program was just what I was looking for—a way to say what I want to do for projects and regularly occurring tasks and then be told how much I need to work on them to get the tasks done. Or, when I’ve been overachieving and can’t get everything done. This companion app doesn’t have a lot of the functionality of the computer software, but provides my daily agenda at a glance so I know what to work on, and permits rescheduling on the go. The new scheduling tool is awesome, and gives me a greater say in how to prioritize when everything doesn’t fit in my schedule.
One thing I would like to see is the ability to do partial completes from the agenda when only some of a task is scheduled for the day.
Buggy sometimes, but is always improving
This software has really helped with my planning ability. The new planning guide on beta looks really good and is quite effective.
The modern life needs a task scheduler and doing it manually by hand or with outlook is very time intensive. This software has some missing features like partial completion on the iOS app and adding notes to specific instances of recurring tasks but the ecosystem is sound.
Would definitely recommend. Hopefully the price doesn’t go up as it gets better.
