Most features are useless without a subscription. But it will still tell you dates of new&full moons, which is all I use it for.
Oct. 14 update Problem
Will not open on iPad 2.
Good graphics BUT
Easy to maneuver but the auto location is off a lot in longitude and the manual correction takes forever to cycle through and is not retained so each time you have to do it again or live with the error

Great app for beginners
This is was a good app for identifying celestial objects when it used to work The latest version no longer tracks horizontal motion. So you can no longer point to the sky and find out what object you are looking up. When moving the phone up/down it tracks but sideways motion does not track. So it's really a useless app now. Another issue I have with it is that the tooltips block the icons so you can't tap on them. Also, being a novice, I don't know what each of the icons mean.
Love this astronomy app.
Will help for the total eclipse in America.
